The 22-karat gold is 91.6% gold and other 8.4% metals are mixed to make different forms of jewelry like necklaces, chains, rings, bangles etc. It cannot be bent out easily due to mixture of other metals.The 21-karat gold is 87.5% gold and 12.5% other metals mix with it. The 20-karat gold is 83.3% gold and 16.7% other impurities blend with it. The 18-karat gold is 75% of gold and 25% is mixed with metals like copper, nickel, zinc etc
